John T. Edge

John T. Edge is an American food writer, commentator, and television host best known for co-founding and directing the Southern Foodways Alliance (SFA), which he has led since its founding in 1999 at the University of Mississippi. He is the author of several books, including The Potlikker Papers and House of Smoke, and has written for Oxford American, Garden & Gun, and other outlets. He also hosts the Emmy television series TrueSouth and has taught and mentored in University of Mississippi and University of Georgia programs.
