Jorge Guzmán

Jorge Guzmán is a Minneapolis-based chef who was tapped in 2014 to lead the culinary program at Surly Brewing Company, where he later served as executive chef of the brewery’s Brewer’s Table restaurant in Minneapolis. Earlier in his career, he worked in restaurants across the United States after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, and his Surly work earned him James Beard semifinalist recognition and helped place Surly on Food & Wine’s Restaurants of the Year list. By 2020, he had moved on from Surly and later became chef and partner at other Minneapolis restaurants, including Petite León and Chilango.
