José Carlos Garcia

José Carlos García is a Málaga-born chef who leads the Michelin-starred Restaurant José Carlos García at the city’s port area in Muelle Uno/Plaza de la Capilla. He spent more than 25 years in the profession and was previously head chef at Café de París, where Málaga’s first Michelin star was awarded in 2001. In 2012 he opened his own restaurant in Málaga, which has retained one Michelin star and has also been recognized with two Repsol Suns.
