José Luis Hinostroza is the Executive Chef and Co-Owner of ARCA Tulum, where he leads a product-driven, open-fire approach to contemporary Mexican cuisine in Tulum, Quintana Roo. He is also the founder of Mecenas Bar in Guadalajara, and recent profiles note additional hospitality projects including MIRA Fireside in Valle de Guadalupe. Public-facing bios describe him as a native of Southern California/San Diego who previously worked at Noma in Copenhagen and on the Noma Mexico research and development team in Tulum.
