Karl-Hermann Kettern is the Winzermeister at Ferien-Weingut Birkenhof in Piesport on the Mosel, where the family business dates its roots to 1746. The winery’s own site says he and his brother Michael took over the parental estate in 2001; Karl-Hermann handles cellar work and wine marketing, while Michael manages the vineyards.
