Kelly McCown is the executive chef of The Kitchen in Sacramento, where he oversees the restaurant’s food program, menu development, ingredient quality control, and the live, guest-facing dinner experience. The Kitchen’s official history notes that he returned to the restaurant in 2015 after earlier work in Sacramento and Napa, and that under his leadership it earned honors including the first Michelin star in the Sacramento region.
