Kentaro Koyama

Kentaro Koyama is the chef of Yasaka, the signature restaurant at Park Hyatt Kyoto in Higashiyama, Kyoto, where he has led the restaurant since 2023. Hyatt’s official materials say he began his culinary career in Tokyo in 2008, moved to France in 2013, spent five years at Michelin-starred restaurants including Maison Lameloise in Burgundy, and later returned to Japan to work as a chef in Tokyo before joining Yasaka.
