i. Biography
Dr. Laura Catena is a Harvard- and Stanford-trained biologist and physician, fourth-generation vintner, author, and founder of the Catena Institute of Wine. She joined the Catena family winery in 1995 and is currently managing director of Bodega Catena Zapata, where she also oversees her own wine projects including Luca, La Posta, and Domaine Nico in Mendoza, Argentina.
