    Lawrence “LT” Smith is the chef and co-owner of Chilte in Phoenix, a Mexican-inspired restaurant inside the Egyptian Motor Hotel on Grand Avenue. He is the force behind Chilte’s “new wave” Mexican cuisine, and he was named one of Food & Wine’s Best New Chefs. He was also recognized as a James Beard Award nominee for Emerging Chef.
