i. Biography
Léa Linster is a Luxembourgish chef, restaurateur, and cookbook author known for taking over her family business in Frisange after her father’s death in 1982 and turning it into Restaurant Léa Linster. Her restaurant earned a Michelin star in 1987, and she won the Bocuse d’Or gold medal in 1989, becoming the first woman to do so. She has also been a familiar TV chef and columnist in the German-speaking culinary press.
