Loïc Avril is a French sommelier and head of wine in Melbourne, Australia, where he has led wine programs for Lucas Restaurants. He won World’s Best Young Sommelier in 2013 while working at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck, and later served as Wine Director for The Fat Duck Group before moving into senior beverage leadership in Australia.
