The Essentials The agricultural side of the craft came early, and close to home. Luc Dubouloz grew up with a farm 100 meters from the house, a place he was often around because his godparents were also his uncle and aunt. That proximity was not symbolic; it was physical and practical. Dubouloz recalls being photographed on a tractor at two months old. Wine was not initially framed as a career path. Dubouloz says he had never thought of making it his job.
