In Their Words “The vineyard went very fast in May, particularly from one day to another. All the landscapes changed very fast.” The pace she describes is part of the job: reading a vineyard as it changes, sometimes almost overnight. The line points to the speed at which conditions can shift and the need for close, continuous observation. The sentence is plain, and that plainness fits the rhythm of estate work.
