Luís Pedro Cândido da Silva Jr. is a Portuguese winemaker associated with Quinta da Carolina in the Douro’s Cima Corgo sub-region, where the estate says he is the current winemaker. He began making wine at the family property in 2015 and has described taking charge of Quinta da Carolina at the end of 2015 after earlier harvest experience and a 2014 New Zealand internship. He also works in the still-wine program of Dirk Niepoort and is linked to the El3mento project with Carmelo Peña Santana.
