Mamá Luz

Luz Dary Cogollo, known as Mamá Luz, is a Colombian chef from Tolú who became widely known in Bogotá for traditional Colombian cooking rooted in the Caribbean, Andean, Pacific, and Caribbean regional traditions. She opened Casa Mamá Luz in La Candelaria, Bogotá, and remains the public face of the restaurant’s kitchen, where she presents heritage dishes and teaches staff and guests about their origins.
