Marc Gascons i Díaz is the chef of Els Tinars in Llagostera, Girona, where he has led the kitchen since 1999 alongside his sister Elena Gascons in front of house. The family restaurant has held a Michelin star since 2008, and Gascons received the 2025 Premi Nacional de Gastronomia in the cuina d'autor category. He is identified by the restaurant and event coverage as a Catalan chef from Sant Feliu de Guíxols, born in 1975, and his work emphasizes traditional Catalan cuisine rooted in local product and territory.
