Marc Lepine is the chef and owner of Atelier in Ottawa, Ontario, where he opened the restaurant in 2008 and built a reputation for modernist tasting menus. He previously spent time working in Toronto, France, and Italy, then moved to Ottawa in 2001 and served as executive chef at the Courtyard Restaurant, where he was twice named Ottawa Chef of the Year by the Canadian Culinary Federation. Lepine won the Canadian Culinary Championship in 2012 and 2016, and was named Canada’s Most Innovative Chef in 2018 by Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants.
