Marcos Alguacil

Marcos Alguacil is a Spanish biologist and oenologist who has worked at Bodegas Osborne for more than two decades, specializing in Sherry, brandy, and other distilled spirits. He joined Osborne in 1998 after doctoral research on flor yeasts, later becoming technical manager and then director oenologist/master blender for Jerez wines, brandy, and spirits. He has received multiple fortified-wine honors, including Best Fortified Winemaker 2023 and recognition as Fortified Winemaker of the Year by the International Wine Challenge.
