i. Biography
Mathieu Roland-Billecart is CEO of Champagne Billecart-Salmon, the family house founded in 1818 in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ, and represents its seventh generation. He spent more than a decade in finance in London, latterly as a partner at Ernst & Young, before joining the house's supervisory board in 2013 and becoming director of operations in 2017. He succeeded François Roland-Billecart as CEO in January 2019 and oversees an estate of about 100 hectares.
