Matt Smith is a wine industry professional who has worked in the UK trade since 2002, beginning at Majestic Wine before moving into buying roles at Waitrose, Bibendum Wine, and Berry Bros. & Rudd. He was named a Chevalier de Tastevin in 2011 for his services and commitment to Burgundy wines, later served as Buying Director at Naked Wines, and began as Director of Wines at St. JOHN in 2026.
