i. Biography
Matthieu Bordes is the General Manager and winemaker at Château Lagrange in Saint-Julien, Bordeaux. He is general Manager, and multiple interviews and wine publications is the estate’s general manager and chief winemaker; he has been at the property since 2006 and was promoted to his current leadership role in 2013. Born in Bordeaux, he has also spoken about coming to wine from outside the industry and building his career through technical and managerial roles at the estate.
