    Maxwell Louis Shapira is the Executive Chairman of Heaven Hill Distilleries in Bardstown, Kentucky, and previously served as President of the company. He joined the family business in 1971 after working on Wall Street and has been a long-serving leader in the company founded by his family. In 2021, he was recognized by the Kentucky Bourbon Hall of Fame with a Lifetime Achievement honor.
