i. Biography
Michael Barreto is the winemaker and general manager at Oso Libre Winery in Paso Robles. Michael is one of the proprietors alongside Joey Barreto. Event and travel materials add that he began his wine career after making his first barrel at home in 1999, studied at CSU Fresno and UC Davis, and worked his first winery job in 2001 before becoming assistant winemaker at Le Vigne Winery in 2003.
