Mimi Casteel

Mimi Casteel is a Willamette Valley winegrower and agroecology consultant best known for her work with Bethel Heights Vineyard and her own Hope Well Wine project in Oregon’s Eola-Amity Hills. The daughter of Bethel Heights co-founders Ted Casteel and Pat Dudley, she returned to Bethel Heights in 2005 as a second-generation winegrower and owner, left in 2015/2016 to build Hope Well, and rejoined Bethel Heights in 2025 as viticulturist after her father retired as vineyard manager. She is also widely recognized for advocating regenerative agriculture and biodiversity-focused farming in vineyards and other working lands.
