Studio practice, composition, engineering, and sound design sit on the same bench in Rosenberg’s record. Training at Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences and Sarah Lawrence College preceded assistant engineering work at Sound Designer Studios (1996–1997), where the entry point was the room itself: signal, session discipline, and the habits of recorded sound. The New York City studio model that followed was long-form and multi-role. At The Doghouse NYC Studios in New York City (1996–2018), Rosenberg worked as composer | producer | engineer | Sound Designer | principal, a span that placed writing, recording, production, and facility leadership inside one practice. In parallel, authorship at Recording Magazine (1998–2005) put that studio knowledge into trade language for working recordists. The later work extended the same materials into tools and instruction. Software Developer and composer at BeatCam (2015–2019) connected composition to production technology; Managing Director and vp, usa at Garnish Music Production School (2019–2021) moved the work into structured training. Current practice is split between Independent Music Professional of Music (since 1991) and Creative Director of Beat Kitchen (since 2022).

Where They Are Now

Independent work and creative direction define the current desk. Rosenberg remains an Independent Music Professional of Music (1991–present) and serves as Creative Director of Beat Kitchen (2022–present), with a practice that keeps composition, production, and studio thinking in the same workflow.
