Óscar Marcos

Óscar Marcos is a Madrid-based head waiter and sommelier at Alabaster restaurant, where he has been a partner and front-of-house lead for nearly a decade. He was recognized by the Madrid Academy of Gastronomy as best dining-room professional in 2022, reflecting his career in service and wine-led hospitality. His training included the School of Hospitality and Tourism, practical work at Zalacaín under Custodio López Zamarra, and studies at the Madrid Chamber of Commerce School of Sommeliers.
