Career Arc
A chocolate house requires both a production identity and a retail name. In 1997, Patrick Roger founded his own brand, Patrick Roger, establishing the platform for work built around confectionery, cocoa selection, and formed chocolate. A chocolatier role is measured in repeatable execution as much as display work. In 2000, Patrick Roger became Chocolatier, where the work continued through confections made for direct judgment by the customer. “I could work with it, I could build with it!” Patrick has said.
Now
Chocolate making at the brand now sits between origin selection, sweetness control, and visual construction. Patrick Roger continues as founder and chocolatier, working with 25 exceptional cocoa origins ranging from 60 to 100% cocoa. The house language includes fruity and woody confections, floral and tangy profiles, chocolate sculptures, and eccentric window displays. In this register, Patrick Roger uses chocolate not only as a filled or molded product, but also as a material for large-scale form.
