Training in cinema gives a bartender another set of tools: framing, sequence, pacing and the visual control of a room. Renato Giovannoni trained at New York Film Academy, bringing that discipline and visual language into the way service can be built and read.

Where They Are Now

Contemporary Argentine cocktail work can carry more than a menu brief. In Giovannoni’s case, the position sits inside a wider practice: building a cocktail language around immigrant communities, national products and the idea of Argentina as something told through service.
