i. Biography
Ricardo González Sotres is a Spanish chef and proprietor of restaurant El Retiro and sister dining concept Le Bistró in Pancar, Llanes, Asturias. After studying at the Escuela de Hostelería de Llanes and cooking for four years under Nacho Manzano at Casa Marcial, along with stages at Ca Sento and Las Rejas, he returned in 2010 to transform his family's traditional roadside tavern into a contemporary Asturian dining destination.
