Ricardo González Sotres

Ricardo González Sotres is a Spanish chef and proprietor of the Michelin-starred restaurant El Retiro and sister dining concept Le Bistró in Pancar, Llanes, Asturias. After studying at the Escuela de Hostelería de Llanes and cooking for four years under Nacho Manzano at Casa Marcial, along with stages at Ca Sento and Las Rejas, he returned in 2010 to transform his family's traditional roadside tavern into a contemporary Asturian dining destination. El Retiro earned its first Michelin star in the 2015 guide and holds two Soles from the Repsol Guide.
