Ricardo Nava

Ricardo Nava is an Orizaba-born bartender and co-founder and co-owner of Bar Mauro in Mexico City's Roma Norte. After nearly two decades in hospitality, including work with Licorería Limantour, he created Bar Mauro with his brother Eduardo 'Yayo' Nava in 2024 as a tribute to their grandfather Mauro Mendoza and his Italian-style aperitivo ritual. Ricardo leads a drinks programme centered on vermouth, amaro, sherry and cocktails that combine Italian references with the brothers' Veracruz roots.
