Richard C. Kessler is a U.S. hospitality entrepreneur and the founder of The Kessler Enterprise, which he launched in 1984 after serving as president, CEO, and chairman of Days Inn of America until its sale that year. He is also identified as the creator of The Kessler Collection and as a founding member of Marriott’s Autograph Collection, with a portfolio of luxury boutique hotels in multiple U.S. states. His work has emphasized historic restoration, art-driven design, and hotel experiences tied to local culture, including projects in Charleston and Savannah.
