Roberta Sudbrack is a Brazilian chef from Porto Alegre, best known for her eponymous restaurant in Rio de Janeiro’s Jardim Botânico/Zona Sul and for leading the kitchens of Brazil’s Presidential Palace after starting her career selling hot dogs on the streets. Her restaurant appeared on Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants list, and she was named Latin America’s Best Female Chef. She is widely described as self-taught and as a key figure in modern Brazilian cuisine.
