Ryan Chetiyawardana, known professionally as Mr Lyan, is a British bartender and cocktail entrepreneur behind Lyaness at Sea Containers London on London’s South Bank, Super Lyan in Amsterdam, and Seed Library in London’s Shoreditch. Official and press sources describe him as the creator of the Lyan bars, with Lyaness presented as an award-winning bar from Ryan Chetiyawardana and team and Seed Library described as his return to East London after opening White Lyan there in 2013.
He is also identified in coverage as a chef-trained, multi-disciplinary drinks creator who has expanded a bar portfolio across London, Amsterdam, and New York-related concepts.
