Ryujiro Nakamura

Ryujiro Nakamura is the chef-owner of Sushi Ryujiro in Tokyo, which opened in November 2019 in Minami-Aoyama near Gaienmae/Aoyama-itchome. The restaurant is presented on its official site as a Tokyo-based, one-Michelin-starred sushi restaurant, and Michelin describes Nakamura as the restaurant’s chef with a bright, open-hearted style. Secondary coverage says he trained in the lineage of Mitsuyasu Nagano and took over his mentor’s restaurant after the mentor’s sudden passing before opening his own place in 2019.
