i. Biography
Sam Bogue is Beverage Director of Flour + Water Hospitality Group in San Francisco, overseeing beverage curation across the group’s restaurants including Flour + Water, Penny Roma, and Flour + Water Pasta Shop. He began in hospitality bussing tables in Boulder, Colorado, worked at Frasca Food & Wine before moving to San Francisco in 2012, and later became wine director for the Ne Timeas Restaurant Group / Flour + Water operations. Bogue is an Advanced Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and was named a 2019 StarChefs Rising Star Sommelier.
