Winemaking at Gini has been Sandro Gini’s fixed point since 1980, giving the estate’s wines a long line of continuity. The Work Today

Co-ownership of Gini Sandro e Claudio sits alongside the winemaking role, tying stewardship to the day-to-day craft. The focus is Soave Classico, a style that asks for precision, restraint and attention to place, and Sandro Gini’s work is framed by those demands rather than by ornament. Public responsibility is part of the job as well: Sandro Gini serves as president of the Consorzio Tutela Vino Soave. Even there, the language of the craft stays simple. As he says, “All the great artists were inspired by how nature creates.” For a winemaker, that means weather, patience and the practical work of translating fruit into wine.

Signature

Sandro’s signature wines include La Froscà and Contrada Salvarenza Vecchie Vigne. They sit squarely in the same register as the rest of the work: measured, place-led wines in which identity and origin remain visible.
