i. Biography
Scott John-Hodgson is a chef from Thornaby in the North East of England who trained for a career change in his mid-twenties after studying sports development at Liverpool John Moores University. He joined Kenny Atkinson’s House of Tides in 2018, later moved to Solstice in 2022, and in 2026 was promoted to executive chef across both Michelin-starred restaurants. He won Restaurant Chef of the Year at the 2026 Craft Guild of Chefs Awards and has appeared twice on Great British Menu.
