i. Biography
Scott Stroemer is the bar director for Galit and Café Yaya in Chicago, where he leads the beverage and wine programs at both restaurants. He was named the 2024 MICHELIN Guide Chicago Sommelier Award winner and was a Jean Banchet nominee for Best Sommelier. He is the beverage director guiding the restaurant’s global, low-intervention wine list and drink program.
