i. Biography
Sebastián Zuccardi is the Winemaking Director at Zuccardi Valle de Uco in Mendoza, Argentina, and a third-generation member of the Zuccardi family winery. The winery says he trained as an agronomist, led the construction of the Zuccardi Uco Valley winery inaugurated in Paraje Altamira in 2016, and founded the winery’s Research and Development department in 2009 to study Uco Valley terroir. He also initiated Alma 4, a traditional-method sparkling wine project, in 1999 with three friends.
