i. Biography
Seung-Min Yi is the co-owner and director of Mhel, a Toronto restaurant and sake bar at 276 Havelock St. that he opened in 2023 with his wife, chef Young Hoon Ji. Mhel’s concept is rooted in Korean and Japanese food and drink, with Yi focusing on the front of house and beverages; the restaurant was also recognized by Michelin and ranked #2 on Air Canada enRoute’s Best New Restaurants of 2024.
