Shavaughn Wells

Shavaughn Wells is a Penfolds winemaker based in South Australia’s Barossa region. Penfolds says she grew up on a vineyard in Victoria’s Merbein, completed an Oenology degree at the University of Adelaide, joined Penfolds in 2017, and has worked across the red wine portfolio and the French portfolio. Penfolds also states she has been a Barossa Wine Show Committee member for a decade and is currently co-chairman, and that she was inducted as a Baron of Barossa in 2017 and named Winestate Magazine’s Australian Winemaker of the Year in 2016.
