i. Biography
Simone Bergese is the Executive Winemaker and CEO of Château Élan Winery & Resort in Braselton, Georgia, where he has led winemaking since 2012 and helped expand production from 4,000 cases to more than 45,000 annually. He is leading with a focus on sustainable, health-conscious wines. He has also been profiled for developing the estate’s Georgia-grown grape program and wines, including Sauvignon Blanc recognized at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
