Solemann Haddad is the Dubai-raised Syrian-French chef and owner behind Moonrise, a rooftop chef’s table restaurant at Eden House in Al Satwa/Satwa, Dubai, known for a Japanese-leaning tasting menu shaped by Middle Eastern ingredients and heritage. Moonrise opened in 2021, and Haddad received the Michelin Dubai Young Chef Award in 2022 and his first Michelin star in 2023, making him the youngest chef in the region to earn one at the time.
