i. Biography
Takahiko Kondo, known as Taka, is a Japanese chef associated with Gucci Osteria Florence, where he has held senior leadership roles in the kitchen since joining in 2022. Gucci Osteria’s official site says he is currently Head Chef of Gucci Osteria Florence and notes that he became Executive Chef there in 2022 before assuming the Head Chef role in 2025. The Michelin Guide describes him as Massimo Bottura’s longtime sous-chef at Osteria Francescana and says he joined Karime López in Florence as co-executive chef in 2022.
