i. Biography
Temo García is one of the García brothers behind Mezcal Vago in Candelaria Yegolé, Oaxaca, where he and his brother Mateo continue the mezcal-making legacy of their late father, Aquilino García López. Mezcal Vago identifies Temo and Mateo García as the maestros mezcaleros for the Candelaria Yegolé expressions, including Hijos de Aquilino and Elote, and describes the family as producing mezcal using traditional methods passed down through at least five generations.
