Tobias Bätz is the chef and culinary partner at AURA by Alexander Herrmann & Tobias Bätz in Wirsberg, Upper Franconia, where the restaurant is located at the Posthotel Alexander Herrmann on Marktplatz 11. A career profile published by FOUR Magazine says he is Kronach-born, trained in Nuremberg under Stefan Rottner at Restaurant Rottner, worked at the two-Michelin-starred Tristan in Mallorca, and became Head Chef at Restaurant Alexander Herrmann in Wirsberg in 2009.
