Valentina De Santis is the third-generation Lake Como hotelier and owner-CEO behind Passalacqua. Her family acquired Villa Passalacqua in 2018, and she led the restoration and creative direction that transformed it into a 24-room hotel opening in June 2022. Passalacqua debuted at No. 1 in The World's 50 Best Hotels in 2023 and remained one of the list's highest-ranked independent hotels.
