Zachary Welton

Zachary Welton is a Charleston, South Carolina baker and co-owner of Weltons Tiny Bakeshop, a neighborhood bakery on King Street focused on naturally leavened breads, laminated pastries, and seasonal, locally sourced goods. He and his wife Hannah first worked together at Husk in Charleston, then cooked at Hartwood in Tulum before returning to the United States and launching Weltons Fine Foods as a mobile wood-fired pizza operation in 2021. The couple opened Weltons Tiny Bakeshop in late 2022 at 682 King St., where Zachary handles much of the savory and bread side of the business.
