Estate Vines and Partner Fruit
The Brice family's Bouzy vines reach back to the seventeenth century, while its business changed shape in 1994 when Jean-Paul Brice became a négociant and supplemented estate fruit with partner grapes. His sons Rémi and Jean-René now lead the house; Christophe Constant directs vinification.
The vineyard's actual composition
Eight of the estate's 12 hectares lie in Grand Cru Bouzy. A separate 2.5-hectare Aube holding at Loches-sur-Ource is planted to two hectares of Pinot Noir and half a hectare of Chardonnay, so it should not be described as all Pinot Noir. The producer dates organic certification of its vines to the 2023 harvest.
Bouzy red and sparkling wine
Héritage blends Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; Grand Cru Blanc de Noirs and parcel wine Le Poteau focus more narrowly on Pinot Noir. Still Bouzy Rouge keeps a different expression of the village in the range. The estate offers visits to its Bouzy cellars by appointment.
