Two Constructions of Rosé Champagne
Fleur de Miraval is the rosé Champagne project of the Pitt, Perrin and Péters families, based within the Pierre Péters estate in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. Its technical interest is the way it builds two rosé lines from Chardonnay and carefully handled red-wine components.
The ER blend
The numbered Exclusivement Rosé editions draw on Côte des Blancs Chardonnay reserve wines and gently macerated Pinot Noir from Vertus. The producer says older vintage Blanc de Blancs bottles are reopened and returned to the blend. Each edition has its own specification; those methods should not be turned into a universal percentage for every release.
Petite Fleur and access
Petite Fleur uses a majority of still wines from one year, a smaller share of perpetual reserve and a touch of lightly infused red wine. The house offers private visits and tastings exclusively by reservation, at its Le Mesnil-sur-Oger cellar.
